Veronica (“Ronnie”) Hickox

Veronica Virginia Hickox (Ronnie) was born to Ignatius Golobiewski and Francis Kazmierska on July 12, 1918 in Seymour, Connecticut.
As a young woman she moved to Long Beach, California and married the love of her life, Louis Hickox, Jr. (Louie) who worked as a Long Beach City bus driver. Together they had one son, Henry Louis Hickox, in 1951. Ronnie was preceded in death by her husband Louie in 1961.
She is survived by her son, Henry Hickox of Palmdale, California, her granddaughter, Tina Hickox of Bakersfield, California and great-grandsons Randy and Christian Hickox.
Ronnie was a member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church in Long Beach, California for more than 50 years and was very active with many charitable organizations. After the death of her husband, Ronnie held various jobs but retired from Pic-N-Save stores.
