Mary
Ann Nassar (Mary Ann MacDonald) was a mail clerk at the Biltmore Hotel
in Los Angeles, a waitress, an executive secretary and most recently worked
in the credit department for the May Company in Lakewood, California.
She was
active in clubs and charitable organizations, notably WAABI and Toastmistresses
of Lynwood.
She was
an accomplished bride player with a rank of section master in 1997.
Her greatest
joy was watching three sons grow into men and begin their own families.
She is
survived by siblings E.V. MacDonald of Green Valley; Cleo Bacon of Tustin;
sons Richard Beggs of Los Angeles; Robert Beggs of Hesperia; Don McDiarmid
of Corona; grandchildren Christopher and Andrew Beggs of Los Angeles;
Stephanie Hooker of Washington; Matt Beggs of Hesperia; Seth and Katie
McDiarmid of Corona; great-grandchild Jenna Hooker of Washington. Grandchild
Carolyn Beggs of Hesperia preceded Mary in death.
Mary will
be cremated according to her wishes. Memorial services will be private.
