Jeffrey Scott Evans was born July 3, 1957 in Long Beach, California to Harry H. and Connie (Dewey) Evans. He graduated in 1974 from Wilson High School. He worked for Walters Electric in Long Beach before moving to Eureka, California where he attended College of the Redwoods to study electrical engineering. He later returned to Long Beach and started his own business, Evans Electric.
He enjoyed fishing, especially deep-sea fishing off the coast of Baja. He leaves behind his mother and father of Long Beach; a sister, Jo Evans Sherer and her husband Daniel of Sedalia, Colorado; a brother, James A. Evans and his wife, Maria of Lake Elsinore, California; three nieces, one nephew, aunts, cousins and many, many friends.
