Ernest Wilburn Jackson, Sr.

Ernie was a husband, dad, grandfather and a great-grandfather. Hehad three children, seven grandchildren and14 great-grandhildren. His life joys were fishing and spending many summers in Mammoth on the lakes.
Ernie enjoyed deep-sea fishing. His greatest love was his last involvement of trap shooting. A member of the American Trap Association and South Gate Roof Gun Club, he was a great competitor and in 1987 won the National Championship shooting against some of the greatest competitors. He won this event with a score of 224 out of 225 targets. He was awarded a life membership in the American Trap Association.
Ernie was loved and respected by all. He had no enemies and carried no malice towards anyone.
His family and friends loved him dearly. He was a man of God and "walked the talk" all of his life. He is a tribute to God and to His followers. He will be missed by all who knew him.
