Emily was born in Dobbs Ferry, New York as the only child of Emma and Andre Faure. Childhood friends still remember her as having a “devil may care” view of life.
Emily married James LeRoy Thresh on December 15, 1946. She was a woman of great class and style, who also wore some of the craziest socks! Most of all, we remember her tremendous sense of humor. Her favorite saying was, “Laugh, and the whole world laughs with you.” She lived that saying as her mission.
Emily is survived by her husband Jim, daughters Andrea and Karla, son Jim and three lovely grandchildren; Mikaila, Garth and Ursula.
Whenever we laugh or smile, we’ll think of you.
