Beverly Lorkovic

Beverly was born in Sioux City, Iowa. She was the devoted daughter of Evelyn Driskell, and sister to Russell and Ralph Driskell. Beverly moved to Omaha, Nebraska where she met and married her life-long husband Paul Lorkovic. Beverly and Paul and five children; Kathy, Chris, Paul, Mike and Lisa.
In the mid-fifties, Beverly took a train to Los Angeles with her children and, with Paul at her side, began her life in California. Beverly quickly began a 25-year career as a nurse’s aide at Norwalk Community Hospital and made many enduring friendships along the way.
Beverly was a grandmother of ten and the great-grandmother of eight. Her loving children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her many years of happiness and joy.
She was a woman who loved deeply and who accepted life’s good and bad times with a warm smile and open arms. We will all miss her smile and her laugh, but we will cherish her memory and live out our lives thankful that we were lucky enough to have enjoyed 73 years of life with our beloved Beverly.
