Amos A. Caldwell (Andy)
Born January 11, 1918, Floresville, Texas
Entered into Rest July 21, 2005, Long Beach, California

Andy grew up on a large farm in Texas. In order to continue to help support his family, he joined the Navy when he was 20 years old. While in the Navy, he met his soul mate Jessie, got married and started a family.
After 20 years in the Navy, he retired and settled down in Long Beach, California. Andy then became a letter carrier. His last route was in Bixby Knolls when he retired.
Andy was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and our best friend. He devoted his life to taking care of his family, friends and neighbors.
Andy will be laid to rest with his beloved wife, Jessie at the Assumption Cemetery in Austin, Texas on August 1, 2005 at 4pm.
He is survived by his loving family, daughters Edey and Frances and grandson Andrew Iokepa Kualaau.
